Mart and McLennan Co Work Together on Evergreen Cemetery

Evergreen

McLennan County Commissioners voted unanimously to donate road base material for the driveway at Evergreen Cemetery, a predominately African-American cemetery 200 feet west of Mart. MRB Group Engineering and Architecture donated manpower and equipment to prepping the cemetery for the driveway at last month's City Wide Clean Up. McLennan County Precinct 2 Commissioner Pat Miller and former Mart Mayor Pro Tem Henry Witt III worked together to present the plan to the Commissioner's Court on Tuesday.
